5 Days to replenish your energy, look after your body and mind in the paradisiac setting of the Costa Blanca, Spain! 

This yoga retreat is designed to help you align with the natural rhythms of autumn, a season of harvest, transformation and letting go. Through a series of carefully curated yoga practices, meditations and more, you'll be guided to reflect, pause, direct your energy inward...

Join Justine and a group of internationals to slow down, experience gratitude, abundance, and letting go.

5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

OF:

  • Transformative Yoga Practices: Experience a balanced mix of dynamic vinyasa flows and restorative yin yoga designed to support physical, mental, and emotional release.

  • Breathwork and Meditation: Learn techniques to deepen your breath and calm your mind, facilitating a deeper connection with your inner self.

  • Nature Walks and beach days: Engage with the beautiful autumn landscape through mindful walking and nature immersion daily, encouraging a sense of grounding and presence.

  • An asana workshop: Improve your practice, push the boundaries of what you think you are capable of and enter a growth mindset as you perfect your inversions or arm balancing skills (to be determined closer to the date)

From dynamic to restorative practices, from stressed to grounded, from disconnected to fully present. You deserve this time to come back to what matters.

By the end of the retreat, you will connect back to your authentic self, feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and aligned with the peaceful and loving nature that resides within you. This retreat is an opportunity to reset and renew, embracing the autumn season as a time for personal transformation and inner harmony.

You can make what you need out of this stay, do all the yoga classes, walks in nature, beach day, socialise... but also, take some time for yourself, skip any activity, rest, take in the surroundings for some introspection...this is YOUR time to fill your cup and take what you truly need. 

THE PRACTICES:

 

8 yoga classes + 1 workshop

There is the option to practice in a beautiful indoor studio with big windows and views of the trees.

The studio is equipped with mats, blocs and cushions.

You may also practice outdoors in the sunshine or under the trees with tropical garden views as you enjoy the fresh air.

All levels are welcome, there will be some challenge and options given for everyone,

but a basic understanding of yoga is best to make the most out of this retreat.

VINYASA YOGA

We use yoga postures in creative sequences and link  them to make up a "flow".

We move in connection with the breath, helping the energy to circulate in the body and finding a moment of awareness and concentration.

It is an energizing and revitalizing practice that helps the practitioner find freedom in their body.

Justine likes to offer a very complete practice with options for all levels to find the challenge they need. You'll explore inversions, arm balances and more...

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga has origins in Chinese Medicine which believes in healing the various energy/chi channels by compressing or stretching certain areas of the body, thereby replenishing or redirecting energy properly to balance our physical and emotional health.

Physically speaking this practice is a series of stretches that are held passively for 2 to 6 minutes each. We try to find stillness of body and mind, balancing our busy lives in this very relaxing and rejuvenating practice.

These will typically be in the evenings to end the day softly... 

MEDITATION AND BREATHWORK
 

Breathwork/Pranayama is a very useful tool for healing the body and refocusing the mind. You breathe in to bring oxygen to your muscles and feed your brain. But your breathing is also an automatic and involuntary function that will affect how you feel.

Whether in meditation or during a flow class, we place the breath at the center and will help you discover or improve different techniques to expand your life force.

We take time before and/or after each yoga class for meditation to bring you a sense of emotional wellbeing, alleviating the effects of stress and increasing self awareness.

THE FOOD

You will enjoy fantastic vegetarian meals cooked by our hosts that use local produce with love and creativity.

The price includes all meals except the day out of the retreat to the beach that is an extra cost:

3 dinners, 4 lunches, 4 breakfasts

Snacks and tea are available in the afternoon also!

ACTIVITIES

Located on the outskirts of the village of Sagra, El Botanico sits at the base of majestic mountains, offering breathtaking scenery. For those eager to explore the countryside, the accommodation provides the perfect starting point for a morning hike, where you can enjoy the stunning sunrise over the hills.

 

A short drive will take you to the beautiful Costa Blanca coast. Here, you can discover charming coastal landscapes, relax on sandy beaches, take a refreshing swim in the sea, or savor a meal at one of the numerous seafood restaurants.

 

Justine is planning an afternoon+dinner at the beach, and if you want to go again during your stay you are definitely welcome to.

Massages are available to book at the retreat too...

SLEEP

You will share rooms all over the property (2-3/room) or you might ask for a private room at an extra cost (see below). Most bedrooms have their own bathrooms and they are all beautifully decorated and spacious.

LOCATION

Located at the Mediterranean coast, between Valencia and Alicante, El Botánico is an ecolodge within a luxurious tropical garden of 20,000 square meters. Rhythmed by water points and home to five colourful and poetic houses, it is the ideal place to take a break from the hustle of your daily life. 

You can find 50-year-old pines and palms as well as a bamboo grove and a tropical orchard with avocado, lychee, mango, guava, and cherimoya trees...you could almost be in Costa Rica or Mexico!

1h30 from Valencia, 1h10 from Alicante, You might take a taxi or share a car with other guests coming from one or the other. There might also be a public transport + taxi option.

"Welcome to you if this is your first visit to my site! You can surf to find out a little more about who I am and what I do... but in the meantime here's a quick little intro:

I used to be a flight attendant for 9 years, I have lived in the UK, Dubai, Costa Rica (for 6 months), Copenhagen and now Valencia! So I'm an International soul.

I love meeting new people and sharing experiences, I love food from everywhere, I try to eat healthy, and little meat.

I love wine and my partner has a wine bar in Valencia (if a tasting is something you might want, do ask...). Yoga is my full time job, online and in person.

I am from Toulouse in France, I love pastries, coffee in the morning, dancing, sleeping minimum 8 hours a night.

I wish I could make all my friends spread out around the world to come live with me in Valencia, and my family too!

My all time favorite tv series is The Wire, my latest fav is The Bureau (Le bureau des legendes), and my little indulgence is Grey's Anatomy (19 seasons and I'm still there...).
